This is the first plan for Argentina,
Bolivia and Chile. It might look small, but it is about 20.000
kilometres on gravel and badly paved roads. The pink routes are
alternative routes. To shorten the entire route, and due to only one
weekly ferry between Chiloé island and the mainland, the southern
pink route might be cut out. And it could be way too cold down there
for my comfort! The
regulations for bringing a foreign car into Bolivia is a bit tricky,
and I was forced to skip Bolivia, making the northern short
cut. Actually, even bringing it into Argentina turned out
problematic.
