This stone is also known as the Hagenskov Stone. It was found in 1809 in a fence, forgotten and rediscovered in 1841 and moved to Frederiksgave (Hagenskov) in 1842 and from there to Jægerspris.

Found: Sønderby on Fyn.
Present location:
Jægerspris Slot, Slotsgården 20, 3630 Jægerspris.

The stone is granite, 146 centimetres high, 22 centimetres wide and 55 centimetres thick. It was made somewhere in-between 700 and 1100.

The inscription: "þauriAþ/þaurihþ"
Translated: þauriAþ or þaurihþ (Female name?)
