This little member of
the Cactaceae family was described by Charles Edward Glass and R. A. Foster in 1983. It is found in Oaxaca,
south-western Mexico, growing in a well drained soil with little water and not too
much sun. It will grow up to three centimetres, the flowers are pale
pink.
