This member of the Aizoaceae
family was given this name by Harriet
Margaret Louisa Bolus in 1937. It is found in the dry
deserts of western South Africa, growing in grit with little water
and lots of sun. The most common type in cultivation has white
flowers, but the typo had pink. |
