A winter growing member of
the Asphodelaceae family, described by Adrian Hardy Haworth in
1825, found on the western coast of South Africa. Growing in grit or
well-drained soil with little water and some sun. This is the first
flower I have seen or found on the web.
The flower stalks
seems to be able to make off-sets as well.
The genera name means
'bulbous'. The species name means 'look
like Mesembryanthemum'.
This is a
winter-grower.
