Let it be said right away: Don't visit this botanical garden to see caudiciforms , cacti and succulents. When that is said, I can only highly recommend this awesome park in Singapore. It is, without doubt, one of the finest maintained BG I ever seen.  It covers an area of 63 hectare. See more: The Garden; 100 photos. 215 orchid photos can be found on: Orchids. I visited in 2009.

It covers a huge area, including large lakes and hillsides. There might not be names on that many plants, but it is a beautiful park!

One of its main attractions are without a doubt the National Orchid Garden. For a small fee, you get access to more than 1000 orchid species and 2000 hybrids are found here, and more are on their way.  215 photos more can be found on: Orchids.

Several fountains and other well design and maintained features are scattered around the large area.

The shadow/humidity house houses numerous orchids.

Next to the orchids are a bromeliad collection. I was here on the wrong time of year, barley any flowers. Never the less, it is impressive. There are over 300 species and 500 hybrids.

To maintain the mountain species, a large cool-house have been build.

Inside, orchids, carnivorous plants, ferns and allied are forming a dense surface on the interiors.
 The layout is like a canopy walk.

The Sun Garden houses the C&S. Due to the climate,
this is not a big area, but the gardener are doing his best.

Here are all from grass trees over Beaucarneas, Agavas,
Grusonias, Euphorbias and Madagascar succulents.

A significantly part is sheltered from the rain by this glass roof.
