This big boulder of Milestedsstenen is found in the large forest of Grib Skov, well hidden under mosses and soil.

Location: Grib Skov. Park at Pælehus; junction at Kildeportvej 24/Pælevej. Follow the gravel Pælevej around 130 m to Milestedvej. After around 170m, a crescent shaped embankment (around 12 m in diameter, 1 m tall) if found to the left. Cross it and walk around 100 m into the forest, passing a pond. On the hilltop, the boulder is found - hardly, as it is quite overgrown.
GPS: Around 55.9779, 12.3346.

Size: ? metres high, 1,8 metres wide and 3,4 meters long.

Meaning of the name: Named after a nearby location. "Mile-place-stone", could be an old Danish mile from Copenhagen?

Material: Granite

Origin: ?

Legend: It might be another of Kullemanden; the troll who lives on Kulleberga in Sweden, who hated the sound of church bells. Many years ago he was so angry that he broke all boulders of Kulleberga and threw them at Nødebo Church to stop bell sound. The first roll was too short, and the stone struck close to the place where now the forest school is located. The next throw went west on the church with killing at Lille Gribsø. The third wing of the church and landed at Egelund. Since the fourth throw did not reach beyond the "Tumlingevang", he gave up his endeavor, and the bell can still be heard.

It make up the peak of the low hill. It is in the centre of the photo, taken 2017.
