This big boulder of Rokkestenen
Ganløse Egede is located in the
forest close to
Myrestenen, about 210 meters west of
Lyngevej, 370 meters north of the
driveway to number 84 - but on the other
side of the road. It is located on top
of an exposed burial mound in a long
dolmen from the Peasant Stone Age from
3500-3200 BC. It can no longer rock.

Size: 1,4
metres high, 2,4 metres wide and 3,0 meters
long. It is 7,8 metres in
circumference.
Meaning of the
name: At one point, you could rock
the boulder with a lath. As there are
several Rokkesten; Rocking Rocks on the
islands, I have added the locality name.
