This big boulder of Blodstenen
is
found on a field behind the address. It
might not be high, but it is huge! And
when you see it, notes the sides angels
out, and it might be way bigger than it
appears!
It is covered in cup marks, at least 52,
but some count 131. They date back to
around 1700 - 501 BC.
Location:
Vestermarken 6, 4291 Ruds-Vedby - and
100 metres east, behind the house .

Size: 1,1
metres high, 5,2 metres wide and 6,2 meters
long. It is 15,3 metres in
circumference. It might be way bigger
under ground!
Meaning of the
name: The blood stone.

Biotit quvarts-monzonit: Kalifeldspat,
rød, 35%, Plagioklas, clear, 35%,
Biotit, black, 20% and
quarts, light grey, 10%
Origin: ?
Legend: The
stone is called the Bloodstone because
according to legend it was used for
sacrifice, where the blood ran down the
cup marks!
It might
very well be way larger!
It have
at least 52 cup markings, but some can
count 131.
It have
cracked in the distant past.
