MYANMAR    MAPS and PLAN 

To plan my tour, I have made a map.

While the main purpose is to see and understand the wild nature, I do intend to see just a few of the numerous pagodas and temples along the road. Some areas are still not open to foreigners, others way too hard to access, considered what they offers.
I have had a real hard time finding any information on where to find the different plant zones, and I simply hope to swing it as I go. To add to the challenge, it seems like renting a car without a driver can not be done at present - and I hate having a driver!

I will reach Myanmar in the dry season - along with everyone else. It is also the cooler month, but as long as it extend 20C, it works for me. Above is the climate for Mandalay, which is located in 76 metres height, and a good average. The eastern part will be cooler.
