This member of the
Sapindaceae family was
given this name by Bernard Verdcourt in 1962. It is found on
Madagascar, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some
to lots of sun. The
multi-branched stem can grow to 20 centimetres in diameter, while
the entire bush reach five metres. The abundance clusters of flowers
are yellow. The genera
name from Greek; eryhros; 'red' and -physis is 'blatter'.
The genera name from the Greek aeschyn; 'ugly' or 'causing
shame'. |
