MAINTAINING YOUR PLANTS
Growing caudiciforms can cause problems, and you might loos a plant from time to time. It is not just water and sun that does it. There are so many different factors that have to be taken into consideration.
I have grown plants for many year, taken a four year gardener education in South Africa and at Copenhagen University and worked in tissue-culture-labs - and given it a
lot of thoughts. That have given me an insight, I would like to share in some

to some of the more vital factures that have an impact on our success.
As caudiciforms origin from so different
environments, this is a set of general factors, which have to be adjusted to the individual species and growing place.
This is just the "basic rules". The factors are more or less connected, and a holistic approach is needed.
Never the less, I will go through them individual. The main parameters are:
Water, Watering,
Nutrition,
pH,
Light, Ventilation,
Temperature,
Soil,
Pots
Pruning and
