Located on one of the Scilly
Islands, south-west
of England, the Tresco Island is dominated by the Abbey Garden.
I visited in 2016.
A slideshow with more photos.
The area random get
frost, but
when they do, many of the numerous
succulents are lost for some time.
Huge amount of walls and ancient constructions make a fantastic
background for the many plants.
Huge old trees and
palms create shadow.
Cozy spots are found
everywhere.
Some areas are
almost classic Victorian.
It has been around for some time!
All from desert plants to ponds.
Australian and African flowers.
Not that impressive
greenhouses.
But they don't need them anyway...
It look awesome on a sunny day!
A must to visit, if
you find your self in England! |
