This member of the
Crassulaceae family
was given this name by Hellmut Richard Toelken in 1978. It is found in
Southern Namibia and north-western South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with
some water and lots of sun. The stem can grow to
twelve centimetres in diameter, the entire plant
to 40 centimetres in height. The flowers are pale green or pink.
This is a winter
grower in the wild.
The species
name from Latin, meaning 'full of clusters' or 'clustering' referring to
the arrangement of the flowers. |
