This member of the Verbenaceae family was described by David Prain in 1909. It
is found in the tropical part of Africa, growing in peat or other rich
soil with plenty of
water and some to much sun. The stems will reach for 3-4 meters. The
flowers are blue. It can be reproduced by cutting.
