This is Turbinicarpus pseudomacrochele ssp. lausseri,  Lothar Diers & Gerhart Frank 1991. Found at the steep rocky slopes of the Sierra del Doctor, Querétaro and Hidalgo.

This tiny member of the Cactaceae family was given this name by Franz Buxbaum & Curt Backeberg in 1937. It have recently been shifted to the Neolloydia, Pediocactus and Kadenicarpus genera. It is found in Querétaro and Hidalgo; north-eastern Mexico, growing in grit with rather little water and plenty of sun. Each stem can grow to four centimetres in height and up to three centimetres in diameter. The flowers are reddish purple with lighter edges.
