Another time

This big boulder of Gubbestenen is found way out on a field near Klovby. Like so many of the other huge boulders, the prehistoric Danes appreciated them. This one has, like many others, indentations, made in the Bronzeage. Allegedly, butter was placed in them in the early spring, and when it melted, summer was here.

Location: Kelleklintevej 45, 4490 Jerslev Sj and then 400 metres over the field.
GPS: 55.633089, 11.234579

Size: 2 metres high, 2,4 metres wide and 3,9 meters long.

Material: ?

Origin: ?

Legend: It is said the ancestral Danes had a death-cult, worshiped it or navigated by it.
