This member of the
Asclepiadaceae* family was described by Friedrich
Richard Rudolf Schlechter
in 1895. It is found
in the Southern Africa, growing in a well-drained soil with some
water and lots of sun. The vines will reach for 75 centimetres. The deciduous
flowers are a pale green star with a purple centre. It can be
reproduced both by seeds and cuttings.
*This family might
been incorporated in the Apocynaceae
family now.
