This member of the
Anacardiaceae family was
given this name by
Faustino Miranda in 1961. It is found in Guerrero, south-western
Mexico, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some
sun. The tree can grow to three or four metres in height, with thick branches. The flowers are
filiforme - thread-like.
