This member of the
Asteraceae family was found by John Jacob Lavranos in the Cape Province, South Africa in 2000. It grows in grit
with little water and some sun. The caudex grows to 10 centimetres in
diameter, the leaf to 5 centimetres. The flowers are yellow, and besides
seeds, the plant can be reproduced by leaf-cuttings.
This is a winter-grower.
