   This member of the Peperomiaceae family was found and given this name by Guillermo Pinoin 2011. It is found in the highlands of northern Peru, around 3500 metres, growing in a rich soil with mosses. It receives quite some water and some sun. The caudex grow to 1,2 up to 2,5 centimetres while the leaves reach 4,5 centimetres. The flowers are greenish white.

Discovered by  Guillermo Pino in 2001. It is named after the habitat: Jalca.
