   This member of the Geraniaceae family was given this name by William Henry Harvey  in 1860. It is found in the south of South Africa, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow to four centimetres in diameter, the entire plant to seven centimetres in height. The flowers are white and pale yellow.
