The top of the caudex by Vered A. Mann.

   This member of the Geraniaceae family was given this name by Harriet Margaret Louisa Bolus in 1934. It is found in southern South Africa, growing in a sandy or other well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow to three and a half centimetres in diameter, the entire plant to eighteen centimetres in height. The flowers are light greenish.
