This member of the Orchidaceae family was
given this name by Jean M. Bosser and Philippe Morat in 2001. It is found in
Bois de Bona, Ankazoabo on Madagascar, growing in a well
drained and rich soil or epiphytic with lots of water and some sun. The pseudubulbs
can grow to two or even three centimetres in diameter with a four to
six centimetre leaf. The 30-45 centimetre inflorescence bear small
crème to pink and brown flowers.
