This member of the Euphorbiaceae family was given this name by
Peter René Oscar Bally and Susan Carter in 1982. It is found
in southern Kenya and northern Tanzania, growing in a well drained soil with
some water and lots of sun. The caudex can grow to fourteen
centimetres in diameter, the entire plant to 100 centimetres in
height. The
flowers are red. |
