   This member of the Asclepiadaceae family was given this name by Patrick Siro Masinde and Focke Albers in 2000. It is found on the Kitulo Plateau in southern Tanzania, growing in a well drained soil with some water and some sun. The caudex can grow to four centimetres in diameter, the entire plant to fiwe centimetres in height. The flowers are green with black apical margins.
