MAPULEMU BOTANICAL GARDEN, Chile
Other Gardens, Collections and Nurseries

Let it be said right away: Don't visit this botanical garden in Santiago to see caudiciforms. In a matter of fact, don't visit it unless you have some hours to kill anyway. I passed bye in 2012.

It is located on small mountain within the city, upper site end of the ZOO. Took me one hour to reach it by foot.
The entrance is rather impressive, so are the poster shoving the different sights.

Here are a few signs  with names and some pedagogic boards.

It is in the maintenance and species collection it fails completely.

Chilean palms.

Mixed flowers.

I found four species of cacti.
